Harry Curtis
Harry’s first fencing class was in 6th grade at the Evergreen School in Shoreline. That propelled him into epee classes at Salle Auriol where he's been fencing on and off up through high school. He is graduating from Seattle Academy where he was active in back stage theater production. Next year he plans to work and travel globally with two close friends, after which he will start at Pitzer in the fall of '25. The Claremont colleges have a fencing club, so he intends to look into that when there.
Thank you to Kundry for all her support throughout the years, and to the coaches and fun classmates!
Colson Hoole
Colson is graduating from Lincoln High School on Friday, June 14th. After high school, he will be heading to Western Washington University to study Business Administration and Computer Science. His fencing journey began in 2017 at Salle Auriol Seattle, following seven years of Taekwondo. Although WWU doesn’t have a fencing club, he is excited about their great gym and looking forward to snowboarding at Mt. Baker during the winter. Whenever he is back in Seattle, definitely swing by to visit everyone at SAS!
Jett Legry
Jett discovered his love for fencing at an SAS summer epee camp when he was 11 years old. He's grateful for the welcoming community and Kundry's masterful orchestration, and sends a big thanks to coaches: Russ, Jay and Chris for all their strategic and patient training (and humor). Jett is graduating as valedictorian, as well as ASB and NHS President, from Vashon Island HS and plans on attending Whitman College in the fall. He'll definitely drop-in over school holidays.
