Charlie Anderson

Is graduating from Lakeside High School. He started fencing at Salle Auriol Seattle in 2014 after first trying one of the summer camps at the old South Lake Union location. Fencing was the first sport he actually enjoyed, and he took up the epee. He hasn’t fenced since the pandemic started, but hopes to pick it up again sometime in the future. He will be starting at UC San Diego in the Fall, in the bioengineering program.

Mylos Gaffney

Mylos began fencing saber at Salle Auriol Seattle in 2013. He is graduating from Franklin High School and will be attending Cleveland State University in Ohio this fall, studying computer science and fencing on their NCAA team.

Avi Jonas

Avi will be graduating from Roosevelt High School and will be attending Reed College in Portland after a gap year first. The highlights of that year will be a semester in New Hampshire learning about farming and communal living, a semester in Ireland learning about Irish arts and culture, and a month in England for a cooking course. He also has a volunteer trip this summer working with the Washington Trails Association and plans to do an internship in D.C. next summer with a watchdog group.

He started fencing epee at Salle Auriol Seattle in 2019 and plans on continuing to fence whenever he in place that has a club or when he is visiting Seattle.

Jack McElearney

Jack is graduating from Ballard High School and will be attending the University of Alaska Anchorage to study accounting. He began fencing when he was eight years old at a Salle Auriol Seattle summer camp. He fences epee and hopes to continue fencing when he is in Anchorage.

Nick Rein

Nick is graduating from Seattle Waldorf High School and attending Seattle University in the fall. He started fencing epee spring of freshman year of high school at Salle Auriol Seattle. He will continue fencing at SAS after graduation.
